why is the showing of the contest missing?
you have to click the one that has all 19 vods at the bottom of the post… that inline player only holds 15 clips sadly. nothing we can do on that one, brightcove should fix that fairly soon
that the BrightCove premium account? Or a free account?
It’s just a limitation of that particular player. We’ve submitted our request to remove the limit, unfortunately it’s just something that takes time.
I thought as much, they’re advertising that they have a some sort of business package availible (for my own endeavors), but I haven’t found anything price related.
Two words: XviD + torrent.
’nuff said.
u cant track d/ls on torrents… we’ve got to justify why we sit in that room and get chicks naked all day with some video view stats :P

I know lots of people have talked about downloading a whole EG show and I just dont get the facination. I mean with a 2 hour video even compressed would be 300mb min. and I just dont get why you wouldn’t stream it.
You can track everything on torrents and I mean everything. Who downloaded what, at which speeds, when, max, min speed, IP,.. everything.
It’s called a tracker and it’s needed to publish torrent info to seeds/peers.
But if I’m downloading that then less of my bandwith can go to cracked games
You pirate you!
Bandwidth is used either way man. :)
I haven’t been able to figure out way torrents are so popular. Is it because you can get faster download speed? Is it because you can download pirated shit?
Maybe its one of those things that can only be enjoyed on like a fiber optics line or something insanely fast. Even when just downloading the old fashioned way, I have always enjoyed better speed that when using a torrent. Plus I don’t have to worry about the upload killing the other stuff I want to do.
Torrents are usually the faster P2P network around, yes. Of course not all .torrents, because it depends on how the sharing community is setup.
The protocol itself is just a mode optimized and smarter when compared to any other P2P form.

Speed is fine, but the reason torrents are so popular is because you can download games… I own a copy of Warcraft 3 + TFT but I downloaded it because my cd rom is busted. I can get stuff their that I should be able to get anyways but can’t.
tr0n, if you’d like to assist us in setting up torrenting of the show, we’d love to get it going assuming we can track all of the stats you mentioned and we’re able to find a solid list of seeders for the show… Torrents are only as good as the seeding!!! :)
