Inside the Game is proud to introduce our newest show, Critical Hit.

Critical Hit is a weekly panelist show where leading members of the industry will get together for honest, frank discussions about the inner workings of the gaming industry and gaming communities. Ever had a conversation about why development cycles are so long, or how news outlets like IGN and GameSpot can sometimes be so out of touch with the gamers they service? Well here’s your chance to hear it from the horses mouth!

Each week we’ll have a panel of 2-4 people from around the gaming world to discuss the issues that really matter, without worrying about PR and marketing. Have a question for the panel? We’ll be on Skype, and in the EG stickam chat, so join us for what is already shaping up to be some great discussions.

This week, for our first episode, we’ll be talking about gaming in the media: the private image, the public image, and the gamer attitude. Our panelists will be Becky “Aktrez” Young from the GGL and the Girl Gaming Network, the world famous Robert Summa from Destructoid.com, and Cliff ‘black mischief’ Black, researcher for a NYC-based investment group where he spends part of his time researching and investing in the video game industry.
