   Dude. PaRappa The Rapper was 2 years before Dance Dance Revolution. PaRappa was on the original Playstation 1996. Dance Dance Revolution was 1998. So yeah, PaRappa started it all!

   Well the PS2 was and still is hard to program to, and have a lot of small quirks that the developers had to work around that was just bland bad design decisions that made it a lot harder to come by.

   I’ve not worked on the PS3, so can’t say how it is, however looking at the tendency on how SONY have done the things on PS and PS2 I would only guess it would be the same.

   Saying that the PS2 can’t be hard to make games for since there is so many games out for it and the PS2 sold so many fucking games. Well people should also remember that there wasn’t many other consoles out at the time that was easier to work with, and the PS2 was in way more homes than MS could hope for or thought they would come out with of the Xbox. But when the Xbox came out it was by far the easiest console to work with, and best ongoing support from MS.

   But when you are a game developer, what consol do you want to make a game for, one with 100 mill sold or one with only 20 mill sold. Anyone will say that if you make a general console game your market share will be bigger when making for the PS2 than for the Xbox. However if you were doing PC games, Xbox was so much easier to expand to as well.

   Just my 2 cents on how the development on the prior consoles where, and that the PS2, and I’m sure PS3 is a hard machine to work with. Hopefully SONY have made improvements on the support for developers and made the development for the Cell easier down the road than with the PS2.

    Wow! what a way to end the show…jesus, Rance was on Summa’s stupid ass and Wheat on Force. Damn, look out Kam-ra u might be next. Overall, good show u guys it was filled with great controversial/argumentative comments. Hope tomorrow’s show continues the rampage! Oh and the guy after the guy above me, is really a douch for fucking commenting about the PS2’s engineering…Lets move past the old-gens and focus foward lmao

    Quicksilver: Try and listen to yourself, or maybe that is the problem, you like to listen to yourself to much.

    However when I comment on the PS2 and developing for it, I do this cause of what I see as lack of information from the hosts of the show in regards to what information they bring up. If they had developed or been talking with developers in regards to the issue, then they would have known the problems that is with the PS2.

    And for your comment on look at the PS2’s development and then referring to Swap Magic hack. Do you even know what you are talking about??? Development or Hacking of the PS2 wise.
