    Honestly all they need is 3d models/environments with 2d locked movement, pretty graphics and 60 fps. And make the movement and physics cartoony.

    Niiiccee, hope they release some videos like this of the new characters. Im hoping they stick to 2d and ditch the charge up bar thing. I havent really enjoyed a SF since the first one.

    My bet is on a 2D Fighter using 3D Graphics with highly artistic style and lots of polish for the game and online play. The 3D camera options will be optional so someone hardcore can turn them off and play his favorite style, and someone else can keep them on and enjoy the full visuals.

    If the game is going to match the style of this teaser, be as artistic without going the overused hyper realism route, I’m going to be impressed.

    Its bound to be a 2D fighter using 3D graphics, but instead of a fixed camera, I’m betting it will roam around a little.

    The Okami style look will probably be in the game too.
    Could be good, will probably be awful.

    If it’s 2D, it needs to be the next level of Street Fighter.

    If it’s 3D, they need to do some stuff that’s never been done before. Bring new shit to the table and differentiate it from Tekken, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter, DOA etc. Make it re design the fighting game genre as we know it.

    I’d prefer it to be 2D though. It’s what Street Fighter is made for.
