Fatal1ty speaks on the CGS, console games and his ‘retirement’

   That was a good interview. I do agree with getting sharper movements with a mouse opposed to a controller but I don’t think PC gamers are better than console gamers. That’s like saying people who eat apples are better than people who eat oranges.

   Depends on your definition of better I guess.. on average would a PC player using a mouse/KB destroy a paddle player.. yes.. but is that because the paddle player is worse or because hes just using the tool of which he is given..

   There is a lot more scope for nubz in consoles because of the limits of a controller your reflexes can’t go past the limit of the device. Mouse and keyboard has unmatchable scope for reflexes so it means that the noobs are spread a lot more from the top players.

   A random gears team could get a couple of frags against the professional level team. You get a couple pub rands from cs together to play against even an amature level team and they would get hammered…

   Nice interview. I used to think Fatal1ty was a little too arrogent when he started, but I saw him in a tourney in Aus and was impressed by his professionalism. He’s been streets ahead of anyone in this regard and I’m glad he’s keeping up that part of his ‘game’.

   Legends never die … they just smell that way …

   Completely agree with the pc vs console gamer but fatal1ty sees the debate around getting a 1v1 shooter like a fight against CSS, that’s not true, these are completely different, there should be both, period. Also he made a false statement when saying CSS was the most popular game out there. CS 1.6 still has 2-3 times the amount of players and played minutes on steampowered.com
