   Great show. Thanks ViRii for the quick VOD upload. I’m not sure if this is a stupid question, but why is there no Tekken in competitive gaming competitions, mainly DOA?

   @Nanokillaz,

   Well this is just my opinion, but as good as people can get at Tekken they have a strong chance of getting beaten by a button masher. It was designed to be a game that anyone could play where as DOA was ment to have a skill curve. All this in mind, I’m sure somewhere is holding a Tekken tournament.

   I disagree completely, Ive played tekken since tekken 2 religiously, and I also played doa up til the xbox 360 iterations and I always felt like tekken required MUCH more skill.

   But anyways, to answer your question nano, I think its mainly because CGS and all that stuff is xbox powered. after all, they only play xbox 360 games. Also, it would be weird to play a last gen game like tekken 5.

   Dare365 im with you, im playing tekken since first one, and doa since DOA2, and i can tell, TEKKEN REQUIRES more skill, and some tactics, in the best matches, button mashers don’t stand a chance.. rly..

    Virtua Fighter 5 is considered the most skill-based of all the fighters. Why isn’t it used? Maybe audiences and players prefer to see the jiggling when women play.

    and a great guest this show. she was nicely composed and the input was interesting despite my not following the DOA scene at all. kind of shared the same mentality as me though when my original game was pulled from WCG in my country. why not play one of the lesser played games and “get good” at it in a few weeks? love the cockiness :P

    as for a fighter game, maybe i’m alone here, but street figher III: 3rd strike would be my choice. the following may not be that large, but it’s a dope game and spectating it at a high level is very enjoyable too.

    Good show, though I got to say being a female gamer that I forget his name whoever was saying having a seperate division for female gamers being retarded is not really thinking about the ratios at all. Like she commented on that when the ratio is closer then it would be great to have one unified tournament but until that happens the idea to advance GAMING as a whole is to draw attention specifically to fact there is professional female gamers out there..

    Now maybe you see it as not proving much because the average female gamer is not as good as the average male but that’s part of what drawing more females into gaming is trying to remedy.. you can’t ever get the skill levels to on average comparable if more female gamers are never motivated into it.. keep in mind it wasnt long ago that most gamers were stereotyped into being pimpy overweight nerds in moms basement, its only recently that people are figuring out games arent taboo and the stereotypes no longer apply..

    Get your act together and think. VF5 wasn’t even out on the 360 when CGS started drafting.

    If it were up to me, best fighting game would be Bushido Blade 2 for playstation 1, but we all know that will never happen. =(

    Damn, they really need to make a Bushido Blade 3.
