   hey just wanted to comment about the age verification since i wasn’t around to watch the show live. the only feasible way that i could see policing the age is when someone buys their subscription to Xbox live, to have the cards that are sold at the stores, be age specific, that is to say that a 15 year old would have to buy a card that matches that age, or group it from like 15 to 20 and 20 to 25 etc.

   About the age verification issue, another possible solution to police it is to set aside a special pool of people interested in this feature for 18+ age group, and to register you must use a credit card to allow age verification. I don’t think this would violate privacy issues as it would be voluntary to join this ‘age verified’ group.

   It felt like watching a 1 hour commercial. I guess that’s not a good thing.

   I think the guys should take these special guests to lunch or something before the show, so they aren’t so fucking shellshocked, and so they can be told it’s alright to say anything. Not only are they usually nervous (except Jason Rubin), none of them seem to have ever seen a single show.

   “I don’t know if it’s okay to say Gauntlet on crack.” WTF guys? Did he just get out of a cab and walk in the studio?

   That would also make marketing reps seem less commercial. I don’t mind if a marketer is on the show since you guys are playing the games on air and giving you opinions. Plus Omega Five looks amazing. I’ll be posting a request for a PSN port at Hudson’s forums.

   Check out SoldnerX on PSN Summa. I think it’s coming out this winter.

   yes… it was great fucking last night. and a good show. and guys… yes… often the guests only have 2 hours or sometimes less to be at the studio. we are not going to make them wait around for 3 hours from lunch time until the show starts, but just so you know… Amar watched a few shows, but he’s not like a mega EG fan. hopefully after being on the show he’ll be all over it!

   Actually I just checked the eastasiasoft forum and found out SoldnerX will be released for PSN in Q2 2008.

   It was a good show. I’m glad I got to see Hudson’s games in action. It just seemed like Amer confused the interview on EG for an interview at a trade show (or G4). Towards the end he kind of lightened up.

   As far as guests go I hope you guys only invite people you want to talk to (like Cliffy B), and not take PR guys doing the rounds.

    It’s more about giving developers and publishers a forum to do more than what they’re used to and what you as gamers are used to seeing or reading. We want to get to the point where we can always have something different and create an opportunity for gamers to get access to the actual game creators like they’ve never had before.
