Street Fighter IV gameplay footage released

   lookes a lot like the original but 3-d, textures, and pretty much better visuals. it better not cost that much

   I have to say seeing it in motion for the first time brings goosebumps. I especially like how fluid the crossups look. With that being said I feel that the graphics look a little muddy and hope they are cleaned up from now until then.

   The whole powerup system sounds interesting; however I would like to see some gameplay with those elements shown so you can get a better feel how they power up.

   Looks amazing, but I cant help but get this feeling that the game may suffer from Budokai Syndrom. If any of you have ever played the Dragonball Z Budokai games, the game has some amazing animations and visuals, but the animations and gameplay get old quick. Seeing Ken grab the floor after that shoryuken instantly gave me that feeling I get when the camera changes and some dragonball z character jumps into his 10 minute animation.

   I think the models themselves look too dated. I don’t know if they’re going to going to update them by release, but it’s a little odd that we’re seeing ps2 models with better textures. When you look at games like Tekken and DOA4 they have smooth movements and well crafted characters. I can’t wait to play Street Fighter IV and I know I’ll sink hours into it, but I was expecting something a little better in the character design.

   id way rather play budokai tenkaichi than this, any new fighter coming out should be very in-depth like doa4 and vf5, i think doa4 is the best though even tekken has some sweet combos but not the graphics, the only reason i played the new capcom fighters is because theyve got like a million fighters and cool voices

   i watched this earlier but i didn’t feel like saying it then — i really hate having to sit through the 1up guys talking. just show me the game, not how much you think you own at it.

   I must say it looks awesome. Same visual style with far more details, facial expressions and 3D = winnah!

   On second watch I noticed that the first dragon punch from Ken that we saw was activated on a button up. First you see him hit with a crouching fierce, then follows up with a dragon punch.

   (To you nubs out there this means that the player pushed fierce a few frames before completing the d-pad motion, then released the button after the motion was completed) - Something the novice to intermediate players (like myself) commonly do.

   In previous games the dragon punch WOULD NOT hit and you would only get the uppercut. They were saying it appears that the moves are easier to do, nothing that I have a problem with, however the question is was this done to make it easier to do and the total damage would just net out if you nailed the dragon punch, or is this something that is going to be driven to be accomplished now because it will net more damage? Or is this just a bug that’s going to be removed?
